Cette importante carte ancienne de la ville de Valence, en quatre feuilles, est de Tomas Vicente Tosca (1651-1723), prêtre, érudit, mathématicien, cartographe et théologien local. Il fut l'un des fondateurs du groupe Novatores, une société scientifique établie pour contester et renouveler.
