Terms of use and database rights

Individual images in the Visual Linkgua archive are public-domain works and may be freely reused while preserving their original attribution (institution, author, shelfmark). The catalogue as a whole — editorial metadata, generated descriptions, semantic embeddings, collection organisation, canonical slugs, curated tags, links between works — is a database protected under EU Directive 96/9/EC and its Spanish transposition. Extraction or reuse of substantial parts of the catalogue, or its repeated and systematic use, requires express authorisation from Linkgua Ediciones. Bulk download of the manifest, automated image scraping, and reproduction of the catalogue in commercial aggregators are not permitted.
