Description

Architectures of paper and ink raise the threshold of knowledge in the viceroyalties of the XVI to XVIII centuries. Under the influence of European engraving, these frontispieces interweave heraldry and mysticism to order the thought of the New World. Traversing them allows one to inhabit the ceremonial portal of printed memory.
