Muqarnas

Description

Muqarnas display the mastery of Islamic and Mudéjar ornamentation. These alveolar structures, since the 11th century, transfigure spaces across the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. Their labyrinthine arrangement creates a perpetual play of light and shadow.
