Description

Threads of greenery and wild grasses trace a cartography of the elemental in Ibero-American visual arts of the XVIII and XIX centuries. In traversing these visions, the gaze moves from the naturalist’s precision to the immensity of the plain, discovering in the American soil a vegetal force that overflows every taxonomic boundary.
