Description
The Nahua script of the Central Highlands transmutes the proper name into a visual sign. During the XV and XVI centuries, these glyphs articulate an onomastics of organic forms linked to lineage and territory. Upon traversing the codex, a Mesoamerican identification system emerges where the image is, simultaneously, word and memory of the individual.
