Description

The echo of the abyss inhabits Ibero-American viceregal plastic arts of the XVI to XVIII centuries, where the adversary assumes hybrid forms between European theology and local syncretism. Its presence traces a cartography of guilt and punishment. It is a journey through the moral frontiers of sacred fear.
