Description

Flights of arrows and curved wood define the iconography of the bow in the Ibero-American sphere between the XVII and XIX centuries. In New Spanish canvases and engravings, the figure of the warrior and the martyr emerges under a gaze of wonder. In tracing these strokes, the lethal elegance of a frontier tradition is discovered.
